Assessment will be related to your job or a situation with which you are familiar. This means you will be assessed in the workplace performing real work activities. In some cases, observation may not prove to be appropriate and so you may be asked to gather documents and other work products, or witness testimony which together provide evidence of the activities you have been involved in.
Outcomes
This qualification gives you formal recognition of your performance in the workplace. It assesses your knowledge and understanding of key activities you do in your job. It also gives you an opportunity to develop your performance to become more effective and progress your career.
Will my employer be involved?
Hopefully yes! Many employers sponsor candidates and enjoy the benefits from improved business performance. More importantly, it helps your employer demonstrate commitment to professional and personal development of staff, which is essential to meet the demands of the National Care Standards Commission inspectorate.
