Course Description
ILM offer a range of S/NVQs aimed at enhancing and improving the performance of people involved in the development, management and representation of people in the workplace. These qualifications are based on competence in the workplace. This award requires the completion of twelve units in total, seven of these are mandatory and the remaining five can be selected from a choice of ten optional units.
 
Course Contents
The mandatory units of the Personnel Strategy Level 5 are:
Develop a personnel service delivery strategy to support the organisation
Develop a strategy and plan to provide all people resources for the organisation
Develop a strategy and plan for performance management
Develop a strategy and plan for the promotion of equality of opportunity and diversity
Develop a strategy and plan for managing changes in people resourcing
Evaluate and develop own practice
Establish strategies to guide the work of your organisation
Outcomes
This qualification aims to enhance and improve the performance of personnel professionals within the workplace. It offers individuals the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification by demonstrating competence in the workplace.
The award offers a way of tailoring qualifications for personnel professionals that both accredits current performance as well as giving credit for existing ability and expertise.
