Course Description
What does this Qualification cover?
This qualification assesses your competence against key areas of middle management. The full award comprises eight units, five of which are mandatory with the remaining three being selected from a choice of twenty-two optional units.

The mandatory units are:

- Develop and implement operational plans for your area of responsibility
- Encourage innovation in your area of responsibility
- Develop productive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
- Ensure health and safety requirements are met in your area of responsibility
- Manage business processes

What does this qualification offer you?
This qualification gives you the chance to gain formal recognition of your performance in the workplace. It assesses your knowledge and understanding of key activities in your job as a middle manager with a wide span of control, accountability for performance, responsibility for determining resource allocation and operational methods. It also gives you an opportunity to develop your performance to become more effective and to progress your career.

You have the flexibility of completing this qualification unit by unit or in its entirety enabling you to fit around work demands and pressures.
